Bahrain Blood Donor Network connects registered donors with hospitals the moment they need a specific blood type. Built and operated by MSS Technology Company W.L.L — non-commercial, humanitarian, and open to every blood-eligible resident of Bahrain.

Who we are
The platform is owned and operated by MSS Technology Company W.L.L, a Bahrain-registered technology firm. All infrastructure costs are absorbed by MSS. There is no paywall, no premium tier, no advertising.
Hospitals apply to become partners through the hospital portal. Admins at Bahrain Blood vet applications and grant access.
Why it exists
Blood cannot be manufactured. When hospitals need rare types — especially O−, B−, and AB− — minutes matter. Existing blood-bank infrastructure is solid for scheduled surgeries but slow for sudden emergencies. This network closes that gap with automated matching and instant outreach.
Every donor registration strengthens the resilience of Bahrain’s emergency response. One O− donor can save patients of any type.
Privacy & data protection
All donor data is stored in MongoDB Atlas with encryption at rest and in transit. CPR numbers are AES-256-GCM encrypted with a key derived from a secret rotated per deployment.
