Bahrain Blood
Donor Network
Legal

Terms of Service

Effective 22 April 2026. By using this platform you agree to these terms.

1. Who can use the platform

Bahrain residents aged 18 or older who meet general donor-eligibility criteria (weight, health status, no disqualifying conditions). Final eligibility is determined by the collecting hospital at the time of donation, not by this platform.

2. Voluntary participation

This is a volunteer network. No donor is obligated to respond to any request. You can withdraw, pause notifications, or delete your account at any time.

3. Accurate information

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. Incorrect blood-type data can harm patients. We reserve the right to suspend accounts with knowingly false details.

4. No medical advice

The platform coordinates donor outreach. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions, or replace hospital clearance. Always follow the receiving hospital's screening process.

5. Consent to be contacted

By registering as a donor, you consent to being contacted by Bahrain Blood Donor Network admins (and, after a match, the requesting hospital) via the channels you've enabled in your notification preferences.

6. Data & privacy

See our Privacy Policy for the full data-handling policy. In short: encrypted, minimal retention, PDPL-compliant, never sold.

7. Admin access

Admin accounts are granted only to authorized MSS Technology personnel and vetted hospital representatives. Admin actions are logged.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent requests, harass donors, or misuse the platform.

9. Liability

The platform is provided as-is. MSS Technology Company W.L.L is not responsible for medical outcomes, delays in blood delivery, or any harm arising from use of the platform beyond what is required by Bahraini law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Disputes resolved in Bahraini courts.
